New procedures and remedies for regulating dominant operators under the EU Electronic Communications Regulatory Framework

On 25 November 2009, the European Parliament and Council adopted new legislation to revise the regulatory framework for the electronic communications sector, including new institutions, procedures and remedies for regulating dominant operators. The new legislation must be transposed into Member States’ legislation by no later than May 25 2011.
